I was so deeply moved as a child as I

watched my beautiful grandmother practice a shoulder stand in her living room.

Although she was my initial inspiration, it was not until many years later, that I found the courage to attend my first yoga class - something I have never regretted.

I qualified as a yoga teacher in 1999 and have since studied many different styles of yoga with teachers from diverse backgrounds.

I enjoy teaching yoga flow (vinyasa yoga) but like to infuse it with stretching and restorative poses (the stillness of the yin) which in my view, compliments and balances the practice and is essential to counter stress.

In my 20 years of practice in holistic health I have studied physical therapy and soft tissue therapy, both of which helps me understand restrictions in postures, hyper-mobility and alignment issues as well as how to address the central nervous system. I am also a fully qualified and accredited Acupuncturist BSc (Hons), registered with the British Acupuncture Council.

I am delighted to share my love of yoga and help all my students regain better physique, emotional health and enhanced wellness.

I hold regular open classes in London. I also offer private one-to-one yoga sessions. I mentor yoga teachers in training and lead yoga retreats in the UK and abroad.

I hope that both beginners and regular practitioners will experience how yoga can relax a busy mind, make the physical body feel more spacious and help bringing awareness to the present moment.

Open classes are taught so that everyone can attend regardless of ability.
